Oregon White Oak Hardwood Flooring
Item #: GMWOWO
Unfinished Solid | Northwest Native Hardwood Floor
A really tough wood with very
distinct personality. A uniquely cool, pale wheat color with some
contrasting lighter cream colored sapwood. We leave the
quarter-sawn figured grain in the floor instead of sorting it out,
which really makes our Oregon White Oak stand apart from typical east
coast white oak floors.
Select grade creates a sophisticated, modern look, while the Character
grade has a very different, more natural feel. We run the
Character grade up to 8" wide for a very great, older style feel, lots
of clients prefer a random width wide plank in this wood.

ECO-STATUS
We think that where your wood comes from is just as important a factor in determining what you choose for your home as is color, grain, hardness and price. For that reason, we list each of our woods with it's "ECO-STATUS", to help you make good decisions about the qualities of your materials.
Oregon White Oak Plank Flooring's Eco-Status is:
NW NATIVE - Woods which are native to and manufactured within our Northwest Eco-Region. We've worked for years with the non-profit Sustainable Northwest's Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities partnership to encourage ecologically responsible and restorative forestry across our region, on both public and private forest lands.

|
CHARACTER is our very popular appearance grade. This grade highlights the
structurally sound natural features of the wood, including knots no larger than 2" in
diameter, tight burls, and small fillable holes and checks which will not affect the
