7-11⁄16" x 75" bamboo flooring with 100% bamboo fiber core (patents pending)
The wider, longer, square-edged planks of Studio install quickly and complement a variety of décor styles from traditional to contemporary. Studio features a Välinge-patented, glueless, self-locking system* that allows the floating floor to be installed on, above or below grade. New patents-pending construction uses a cross-ply bamboo core to ensure that the flooring remains flat and the locking system profile strong and stable. A hidden benefit: the recommended underlayment is also an acoustical sound barrier, making Studio ideal for high-rise condominiums or offices as well as residential installations.
The 7-coat German finish includes a wear layer of abrasion-resistant aluminum oxide plus two scratch-resistant, polyurethane topcoats that protect the bamboo fiber's natural strength and beauty. Finish is water-based and solvent-free, and the manufacturing adhesives emit less formaldehyde than is present in ambient air. Studio is also FloorScore®-certified, one of the most rigorous air quality standards in the world. FloorScore® ensures the quality of indoor air for high performance schools and offices and meets stringent standards for 78 volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Now it ensures the same high quality of air for you.
