California Chestnut is an extremely hard wood. Its durability, honey-warm color and distinct grain with much quartersawn and rift flecking make it a great flooring appropriate for any high traffic application. Custom milling shows higher than average percentage of Craftsman/Mission Style flowing rift and quarter-sawn grain.
Craftsman grade is a mix of Select and Natural grade, an elegant blend of West Coast Modern. Elegant with a bit of nature.

Engineered Specs

Designed for stability over wood/ply/osb/radiant heat or concrete slab.
Can be nailed, glued or floated.
A solid slab of 3/16" (4.5mm) hardwood mounted to furniture grade 12-ply birch.
3/4" final thickness
Extra long lengths 2' - 9.9' (average is over 4')

Finish Specs

PREFINISHED
Satin Oil - a natural, zero VOC finish provides a subtle sheen without harmful chemicals. It's easy to maintain (easy to clean, easy to refresh) and a very durable surface that brings out the luster and beauty of the wood without the "glazed" look of most factory finished floors.
Wood is pre-filled and sanded, moulded with very light micro-beveled edges and ends.

UNFINISHED
Unfinished floors will need to be sanded and finished on site (or in your home).
